Cookie Policy

This page explains which cookies and similar technologies droneranker.com uses, why, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Last updated 4 October 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work; others measure how the site is used or support advertising. Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking pixels, are covered by this policy in the same way.

Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. WordPress sets session cookies when you log in or submit a form, and the consent banner stores your choice so it is not shown again. These cannot be switched off because the site would not function without them.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read, for how long and from which countries. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example _ga) and processes IP addresses in anonymised form. We also keep aggregate, on-server visit statistics that do not identify you. You can accept or reject analytics cookies in the “Your privacy choices” banner; your choice is stored in your browser and applied on every page.
  • Advertising. Where display advertising is shown, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies to measure ad performance and, where you have consented, to personalise ads. You can manage personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com.
  • Affiliate links. When you click a link to Amazon or another retailer, that retailer may set a cookie on its own site to attribute a purchase to Drone Ranker. We do not receive personal information from those cookies.
  • Embedded content. Pages that embed videos or social posts may load cookies from the embedding service (for example YouTube) when you interact with them.

How to manage cookies

You can change your choice at any time through the “Your privacy choices” panel in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge explain how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with data-protection law, you have the right to withdraw consent, to access the data held about you and to ask for it to be deleted. Requests and questions about this policy go through the contact page.
