DJI Drone Deals: Prime Big Deal Days (6–7 October) and Black Friday 2026

Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days run on 6 and 7 October 2026, from 12:01 a.m. PDT, in 22 countries including the US, UK, Germany, France, Canada, Japan and Türkiye. The event is for Prime members only. Black Friday follows on 27 November and Cyber Monday on 30 November. This page lists every drone we track that is worth watching in those windows, why each one is likely to be discounted, and the one thing that matters more than the discount in 2026: whether the drone can be sold in the US at all.

We do not quote live prices: Amazon’s change by the hour and often by seller. Each button opens the current listing. Launch prices are given so you can judge a discount against something fixed.

DJI and alternative drones to watch

Ordered by how much a sale changes the buying decision. Models still listed in DJI’s own US store are marked; third-party-only models can be discounted more, but the seller sets the warranty terms.

DJI Mini 4 ProDJI US store

Launched at $759 (RC-N2) at launch, Sept 2023

Three years old and still in DJI’s US store, so it is the DJI drone most often discounted by DJI itself. Best value sub-250 g pick when it drops.

DJI Mini 5 ProThird-party sellers

Launched at $759 (RC-N3) at launch, Sept 2025

Only sold in the US by third-party sellers, so prices swing more than DJI’s own listings. A sale price from a seller with a clear warranty is the deal to wait for.

DJI Air 3SDJI US store

Launched at $1,099 (RC-N3) at launch, Oct 2024

Two years old, in DJI’s US store, and the Air 4 is not close. Historically the Air line gets its deepest cuts in the November events.

Still listed by DJI in the US. Discounts have been modest; a Fly More Combo deal is the one worth taking.

DJI NeoDJI US store

Launched at $199 at launch, Sept 2024

Already the cheapest DJI; sale prices tend to come on the combo with the controller rather than the bare drone.

DJI Neo 2Third-party sellers

Launched at €239 at launch, Nov 2025

Outside the US, the Neo 3 is weeks away, so Neo 2 prices should soften. In the US it is third-party only, and the Neo 3 will not be sold at all.

DJI Avata 2DJI US store

Launched at $999 Fly More (Goggles 3) at launch, Apr 2024

DJI Mavic 4 ProThird-party sellers

DJI Mavic 3 ProDJI US store

Launched at $2,199 (DJI RC) at launch, Apr 2023

What a good drone deal looks like in 2026

  • Judge the combo, not the bare drone. Spare batteries and a screened controller add $150 to $300 at full price; a Fly More Combo discount is usually worth more than the same percentage off the aircraft alone.
  • Compare with the launch price, not the list price. Amazon list prices for older DJI models sometimes sit above what DJI charged at launch. The launch figures above are the honest baseline.
  • Older model, deeper cut. The Mini 4 Pro, Mini 3, Air 3S and Mavic 3 Pro are the DJI drones most likely to see real reductions, because each has a newer sibling and DJI still sells them in the US.
  • Third-party listings need a second look. For the Mini 5 Pro, Neo 2, Avata 360 and Mavic 4 Pro, check who ships the item and what warranty is stated before the price convinces you.
  • Imports are not deals. Listings for drones with no FCC authorization, such as the Neo 3 or Lito X1, are grey imports with no US warranty and uncertain firmware support. Check any model in our US drone ban checker.

Buy in October, or wait for Black Friday?

For DJI drones that DJI still sells itself, the November events have historically produced the lower prices, and DJI often runs its own store sale alongside Amazon’s. If the October price on a Mini 4 Pro or Air 3S is not clearly better than what you saw in summer, waiting seven weeks costs little. For third-party-only models, stock is the bigger risk: a good Mini 5 Pro or Mavic 4 Pro listing in October may not be there in November.

Two timing notes specific to this year. Outside the US, the Neo 3 is expected within weeks, which should push Neo 2 prices down; buying a Neo 2 at full price in October is the one move we would avoid. And nothing new is coming for the Mini or Air lines before 2027 by any evidence we have, so there is no reason to hold off on a Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro or Air 3S. Our DJI release tracker keeps that picture current.

Accessories that are usually a better buy than the drone

Memory cards and batteries are discounted every event and are needed whatever you fly. A V30, A2 microSD card is the minimum for 4K/60 and above; both of these are on DJI’s recommended lists:

Genuine DJI batteries rarely drop much; the saving is in buying the Fly More Combo rather than adding batteries later.

Not sure which drone to look for?

Our five-question drone finder narrows 21 models to three for your budget, your use and your country, and each result links back to its listing. If weight matters, the registration checker shows what 250 g means where you fly.

Frequently asked questions

When are Prime Big Deal Days 2026?

6 and 7 October 2026, starting at 12:01 a.m. PDT, for Prime members in 22 countries.

When is Black Friday 2026?

27 November 2026, with Cyber Monday on 30 November. DJI usually runs its own store sale across the same days.

Which DJI drones get the biggest discounts?

Models DJI still sells itself and that have a newer sibling: Mini 4 Pro, Mini 3, Air 3S and Mavic 3 Pro. Third-party-only models such as the Mini 5 Pro can be cut deeper by individual sellers, with more variation.

Is the DJI Mini 5 Pro on Amazon legitimate?

Yes, if the seller is reputable. It was FCC-authorized before the December 2025 cut-off, so it is legal to sell in the US; DJI simply does not list it in its own US store.

Should I wait for the Neo 3 or buy the Neo 2 on sale?

Outside the US, wait a few weeks or buy only at a clear discount, because the Neo 3 is imminent. In the US, the Neo 3 will not be sold, so a Neo 2 deal is the one to take.

Yes. The buttons are affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The models listed are the ones we recommend regardless.
