Prime Day Drone Accessories 2026: The microSD Cards, Batteries and Filters DJI Actually Lists
Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days run on 6 and 7 October 2026. Drones get the headlines, but most drone owners buy something smaller in these two days: a memory card, a second battery, a charging hub, a set of ND filters. Those are also where the cheapest mistakes happen. A card that is too slow, a battery that pushes the aircraft over 250 g, or a full-size SD card bought for a drone that only takes microSD all look like bargains on the listing.
This page is a documentary checklist, not a hands-on test. Every requirement below comes from DJI’s own specification pages for the Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S, linked at the end. We do not quote prices; each button opens the live Amazon listing.
Quick answer
| Accessory | Worth buying if | The one thing to check |
|---|---|---|
| microSD card | Your drone takes one (Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S do) | UHS-I U3 / V30, and on DJI’s tested list |
| Spare battery | You fly more than one battery per outing | Genuine DJI, and whether it changes the 249 g weight |
| Charging hub | You own two or more batteries | That it matches your battery series |
| ND filters | You shoot video in daylight | Made for your exact model |
| Prime membership | You are not a member yet | The 30-day free trial counts for the event |
microSD cards: buy from DJI’s list, not the speed headline
The card is the accessory most likely to cause a problem that looks like a drone fault: a recording that stops, dropped frames, a corrupted clip. DJI publishes the cards it has tested for each aircraft, and the requirement for all three drones below is the same class: UHS-I, U3, V30, with A2 on most listed cards. A card can be fast on paper and still not be on the list.
| Drone | Cards DJI lists (capacities) | Built-in storage |
|---|---|---|
| DJI Mini 4 Pro | Lexar 1066x (64–512 GB), Kingston Canvas Go! Plus (64/128 GB), Kingston Canvas React Plus (64–256 GB), SanDisk Extreme PRO 32 GB, Samsung EVO Plus 512 GB | Not listed |
| DJI Mini 5 Pro | Lexar Silver Plus (64 GB–1 TB), Kingston Canvas Go! Plus (64–512 GB) | 42 GB |
| DJI Air 3S | Lexar 1066x (64–512 GB), Kingston Canvas Go! Plus (64–512 GB) | 42 GB |
One line appears on all three lists, so it is the safe buy if you own more than one DJI drone or plan to upgrade: Kingston Canvas Go! Plus. The Kingston cards on Amazon now are the current SDCG4 version, still V30, U3 and A2. On the Lexar side, DJI lists the Silver Plus for the Mini 5 Pro; the older Lexar 1066x named on the Mini 4 Pro and Air 3S lists is now hard to find on Amazon.
microSD cards on DJI’s lists
Kingston Canvas Go! Plus 128 GB microSD
Listed for Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S. Roughly two hours of 4K/60 at the Mini 4 Pro’s 150 Mbps.
Kingston Canvas Go! Plus 256 GB microSD
Listed for Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S; the size most owners end up wanting.
Kingston Canvas Go! Plus 512 GB microSD
For 10-bit and long trips; listed for Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S.
Lexar Silver Plus 512 GB microSD
On DJI’s Mini 5 Pro list (64 GB to 1 TB).
Lexar Silver Plus 256 GB microSD (2-pack)
Two cards, so one can stay in the controller bag as a spare.

The mistake to avoid: full-size SD cards. Many “Professional” and “V60/V90” cards on sale are SD, not microSD, and they do not fit any current DJI consumer drone. Check that the title says microSD or microSDXC and that the card comes as the small format (an adapter in the box is fine).
Spare batteries: genuine, and watch the weight
A second or third battery is the accessory that changes how you fly the most, and it is the one where a discount matters least: genuine DJI batteries rarely drop much on their own, which is why the Fly More Combo is usually the cheaper route (see our DJI drone deals list). If you already own the drone, two things decide which battery to buy.
The Battery Plus takes the Mini over 249 g
DJI sells a higher-capacity Intelligent Flight Battery Plus (3,850 mAh for the Mini 3 series and Mini 4 Pro, against 2,590 mAh for the standard Mini 4 Pro pack). DJI’s own Mini 4 Pro specification says it plainly: “With the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, the aircraft will weigh more than 249 g.” In the US that means a recreational flyer must register the drone with the FAA and broadcast Remote ID, which the Mini 4 Pro already does. DJI also notes the Plus battery is not sold in Europe. Our registration-by-weight checker shows what crossing 250 g means in the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia and Japan.
Third-party batteries
Amazon search results for DJI batteries are mostly third-party packs, often in 3-packs and sometimes with capacities above anything DJI makes for the same frame. We cannot verify those claims, and a higher capacity in the same housing usually means more weight or a different cell. For a lithium battery that flies over people and property, we only link DJI’s own packs.
Genuine DJI batteries
DJI Mini Series Intelligent Flight Battery Plus
3,850 mAh for Mini 3, Mini 3 Pro and Mini 4 Pro. Takes the aircraft over 249 g.
DJI Air 3S Intelligent Flight Battery
4,276 mAh, 62.5 Wh, per DJI’s Air 3S specification.

Charging hubs: the cheapest upgrade with three batteries
If you own two or more batteries, a hub is the difference between charging overnight and charging in the car. DJI’s Mini 4 Pro specification lists a Two-Way Charging Hub that charges three batteries in sequence and accepts both the standard and Plus packs; it also works as a USB-C power bank for a phone or the controller. The Neo has its own hub.
DJI charging hubs
DJI 30W USB-C Two-Way Charging Hub (Mini 3 / Mini 4 Pro batteries)
Three batteries in sequence, standard or Plus. Doubles as a power bank.
DJI Neo Two-Way Charging Hub
For DJI Neo batteries.

ND filters: needed for smooth daylight video
Small drone cameras have a fixed aperture, so in daylight the only way to keep the shutter slow enough for natural motion blur (roughly double the frame rate, 1/60 s at 30 fps) is to cut the light with a neutral-density filter. Without one, the camera picks a very fast shutter and fast movement looks choppy. A set with ND16, ND64 and ND256 covers overcast to bright sun. Buy a set made for your exact model: filters that sit on the gimbal add weight the gimbal has to carry, and a poor fit strains the gimbal motors.

What to skip
- “Renewed” DJI batteries. Battery health is the one thing a refurbished listing cannot show you.
- Bundles built around a drone by a third-party seller. Kits that add unbranded cases, lens cloths and generic cards to a DJI drone are priced as if the extras were DJI accessories. Compare with the official Fly More Combo.
- Unbranded cards with huge capacities. A 1 TB microSD card from an unknown brand at a very low price is the most common fake on any marketplace.
- Accessories for drones you cannot buy. If you are in the US, check the drone first in our US drone ban checker; a battery for an import with no US warranty is a poor place to save money.

Frequently asked questions
What microSD card should I buy for a DJI drone?
One on DJI’s tested list for your aircraft. For the Mini 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro and Air 3S the requirement is UHS-I, U3, V30. Kingston Canvas Go! Plus is the one line on all three lists; Lexar Silver Plus is on the Mini 5 Pro list.
Does the DJI Mini 4 Pro need registration with the Battery Plus?
DJI says the aircraft weighs more than 249 g with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus. In the US, a recreational drone of 250 g or more must be registered with the FAA.
Are third-party DJI batteries safe?
We cannot verify them, and many list capacities above DJI’s own packs for the same frame. For a lithium battery that flies, we only recommend genuine DJI batteries.
Do I need ND filters for a drone?
For daylight video with natural motion, yes. Drone cameras have fixed apertures, so ND filters are the only way to keep the shutter around double the frame rate in bright light.
Can I get Prime Day prices with a free trial?
Yes. Amazon says customers on the 30-day Prime free trial can take advantage of Prime Day sales.
Do you earn from these links?
Yes. The buttons are Amazon affiliate links and we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Products are chosen from DJI’s own compatibility lists, not by commission.
