The Quick Verdict
The DJI Agras T70P and the XAG P150 Ultra are the two heavy multi-role farm drones that buyers compare in 2026, and on the spec sheet the XAG is the bigger machine. It carries an 85 L spray tank and an 80 kg rated payload against 70 L and 70 kg for the T70P, pumps 42 L/min with two nozzles or 52 L/min with four against 30 and 40 L/min, lifts 80 kg against 65 kg, weighs 48 kg instead of 52 to 56 kg and carries an IPX6K rating. Both spread up to 400 kg/min and both recharge from 30% to 95% in roughly eight minutes. The T70P answers with a more complete safety system, pairing radar with Tri-Eye vision, a slightly wider published spray width of 4 to 11 m and two battery sizes. The deciding factor for most readers is availability. The P150 Ultra is a China-market model priced in yuan, while XAG sells the P150 Max elsewhere, and it has no FCC authorization. The T70P is sold through DJI Agras dealers in many countries, and in the US an authorization exists under its T70 filing. If you farm in China, the P150 Ultra is the higher-capacity choice. Everywhere else, the T70P is the one you can actually buy and service, so it takes the verdict.

This is a specification-based editorial analysis using DJI's and XAG's published specifications and the sources listed below. No physical product testing is claimed.
Capacity: the XAG is bigger on every tank
The P150 Ultra's 85 L spray tank and 80 kg rated payload put it a class above the T70P's 70 L and 70 kg, and the gap carries over to spreading, where XAG lists a 115 L hopper rated for 80 kg against DJI's 100 L and 70 kg. XAG also gets there with a lighter airframe: 48 kg with battery, against 52 kg for the T70P with the DB1580 or 56 kg with the DB2160. Fewer refills per hectare is the practical result, provided your ground crew can keep up.
Spraying and spreading output
XAG rates the P150 Ultra at 42 L/min with two centrifugal nozzles and 52 L/min with the optional rear four-nozzle kit. DJI rates the T70P at 30 L/min with two nozzles and 40 L/min with four. The T70P publishes a slightly wider effective spray width of 4 to 11 m against 5 to 10 m. For granules the two are level on peak rate at 400 kg/min, though DJI measured with compound fertilizer and XAG with potash in a lab test, so the figures are not like-for-like.
Safety systems and terrain
DJI's Safety System 3.0 combines front and rear millimeter-wave radar with Tri-Eye stereo vision, detects obstacles out to 60 m and brakes within 2.5 m. XAG uses one 4D imaging radar operating at 24 GHz with a 1 to 100 m range, which also handles terrain following, and a 1080p FPV camera for the operator's view. Both limit obstacle avoidance to 13.8 m/s, which is also the P150 Ultra's published top speed. The XAG adds an IPX6K rating, which DJI does not list for the T70P aircraft.
Availability and US rules
- XAG P150 Ultra: launched in China at XAAC 2025 in November 2025 and sold through Chinese dealers. XAG's global model is the P150 Max, which reached the US in early 2026.
- DJI Agras T70P: sold through Agras dealers in many markets. In the US, the T70 and T70P share an FCC ID filed before the 22 December 2025 Covered List action.
- Any new foreign-made drone without an FCC authorization cannot currently obtain one, so a US version of the P150 Ultra is unlikely under current rules.
- US spray operations need FAA Part 137 certification and Part 107, plus an exemption for aircraft over 55 lb, whichever drone you choose.

Context, limitations, and sources
Choose the XAG P150 Ultra if you farm in China and want the most tank, payload and flow per sortie. Choose the DJI Agras T70P anywhere else: it is sold and serviced through Agras dealers in many markets, including the US, while the P150 Ultra is a China-market model.
Limitations
Specification-based comparison; no hands-on testing. XAG P150 Ultra figures come from XAG's Chinese product and specs pages and may differ from any future export version. Spreading rates were measured with different materials (compound fertilizer vs potash). Prices are Chinese list and promotional prices as of October 2026; DJI does not publish a T70P list price.
